That you have spent as little money as possible.

That you spent money on things that make you happy, not because you had to.

That you did not have to jostle with the crowd to get some gifts just because your colleagues are 'exchanging gifts'.

That you have spent money on gifts for people whom mean something to you, not just because you're obligated to.

That you have spent time with people you love, not because they invited you to their party.

That you had some practical use for the multi-lighted santa cap you bought from a street vendor on Orchard road - after christmas.

That you did not go to Orchard road to see the lights, just because everyone is doing it. Why you did it, when the lights is the same every year? You don't know.

That you got drunk at some celebration, and when sobered up, did not know why the hell you got drunk in the first place.

That you celebrated because you are really happy, and not because its a way to forget your problems.

(If you are a christian) That You went to church to remember why J.Christ died for you, not because you'have been doing it for years, it became a routine.

(If you are a heathen like me) That you didn't pretend that Christmas meant anything to you, in front of friends, just because its the 'social' thing to do.

That you said 'Merry Christmas' to someone and really meant it.

When you sent countless 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year' sms-es to friends, they still had your your number stored in their phone book.

That you remember that last christmas, a lot of people had a really shite day because of the tsunami.
