From Engadget:
"We’re expecting a good fight but they’re coming out with something that’s five generations older. It’s our first generation MuVo One product feature, without display, just have a (shuffle feature). We had that — that’s a four-year-old product. So I think the whole industry will just laugh at it, because the flash people — it’s worse than the cheapest Chinese player. Even the cheap, cheap Chinese brand today has display and has FM. They don’t have this kind of thing, and they expect to come out with a fight; I think it’s a non-starter to begin with."
Mr Sim, this might comes as news for you, but if your product is so good, why the hell is it not dominating the market, even with a 4 year headstart? Something must be wrong somewhere.
And who listens to FM radio anyway? If I own an MP3 Player, you sure as hell can expect me to listen to my MP3s, not listen to radio. Why listen to radio when you have 20 gig of Mp3s?
Product design is not cramming X amount of features into a small space. Its more than that. Your kludgy MuVo sucks, I used (or tried to use it). crummy interface, unimpressive design.
You gotta do better than bitching about your biggest competitor. They must be doing something right if they have 60% of the market.
